Product Description
The 5xRapid Semi-dry Transfer Buffer features a unique formulation designed for efficient protein transfer to blotting membranes (PVDF or NC membranes) within 10-15 minutes using the semi-dry blotting method.

Instructions for Use
1. Preparation of 200 mL 1xRapid Transfer Buffer:
- Take 40 mL of 5xRapid Transfer Buffer.
- Add 120 mL of ultrapure water.
- Finally, add 40 mL of anhydrous ethanol.
Note: Add solutions in the specified order. If the weighing container is not rinsed with water after adding the transfer buffer, precipitation may occur upon ethanol addition.
2. Soak filter papers in 1xRapid Transfer Buffer for 3-5 minutes until fully saturated.
3. For PVDF membranes: Pre-wet with anhydrous methanol for 30 seconds, then soak in 1xRapid Transfer Buffer for 5 minutes for equilibration. NC membranes require no pretreatment and can be directly soaked in the transfer buffer.
4. Rinse the gel in ultrapure water for 2 minutes to remove surface SDS.
5. Assemble the transfer sandwich in the following order:
Negative electrode ¡úOne extra-thick filter paper ¡úGel¡úTransfer membrane¡úOne extra-thick filter paper ¡úPositive electrode.
6. Use a roller to remove air bubbles.
7. For semi-dry transfer, constant current is recommended:
- For gels approximately 7.5¡Á8.5 cm in size and 1.0 mm thick, transfer for 7-15 minutes.
- Parameters may vary depending on the semi-dry transfer apparatus; adjust based on historical usage habits.
