HRP-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgA (H+L), SA-10018

Product Introduction

This product is a goat polyclonal secondary antibody conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) that specifically recognizes mouse IgA heavy and light chains (H+L). Secondary antibodies are essential reagents in Western blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and other immunodetection techniques, providing specific and sensitive detection of primary antibodies bound to target antigens. HRP conjugation enables chemiluminescent, colorimetric, or fluorometric detection using appropriate substrates. This antibody is generated in goats and purified to provide high specificity for mouse IgA with minimal cross-reactivity to other mouse immunoglobulin classes or serum proteins from other species.

Product Features

1. HRP Conjugate: Enables detection via chemiluminescent (ECL), colorimetric (TMB, DAB), or fluorometric substrates.

2. High Specificity: Recognizes mouse IgA heavy and light chains with minimal cross-reactivity.

3. Versatile Applications: Suitable for Western blot, ELISA, IHC, and other immunodetection techniques.

4. Ready-to-Use Liquid Format: Supplied in stabilized buffer for convenient handling and storage.

Shelf Life: The product is stable for 12 months from the date of delivery when stored as directed.

Protocol (For Reference Only)

Important: Protect HRP-conjugated antibody from prolonged light exposure. Centrifuge the vial briefly before opening. The optimal working dilution should be determined empirically for each application.

1. Western Blot: Following membrane blocking and primary antibody incubation, wash the membrane thoroughly. Dilute HRP-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgA (H+L) at 1:5,000 to 1:50,000 in blocking buffer. Incubate for 1 hour at room temperature with gentle agitation. Wash 3-5 times with TBST and detect using ECL substrate.

2. ELISA: Following coating, blocking, and primary antibody incubation, wash the plate thoroughly. Dilute the HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5,000 to 1:50,000 in blocking buffer. Incubate for 1 hour at room temperature. Wash and detect using TMB or other appropriate HRP substrate.

3. IHC: Following antigen retrieval, blocking, and primary antibody incubation, wash sections thoroughly. Dilute the HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:500 to 1:5,000. Incubate for 30-60 minutes at room temperature. Wash and detect using DAB or other appropriate chromogenic substrate.

Precautions

1. Protect from prolonged light exposure to prevent HRP inactivation.

2. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles; aliquot upon delivery and store at -20¡ãC.

3. The recommended dilution ranges are guidelines; optimal dilution must be determined empirically.

4. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

FAQ (Simplified)

Q1: What is the host species and target of this antibody?

A1: This is a goat polyclonal secondary antibody that specifically recognizes mouse IgA heavy and light chains (H+L), conjugated to HRP.

Q2: What dilution should I use for Western blot?

A2: The recommended dilution range for Western blot is 1:5,000 to 1:50,000. Optimize based on your specific sample and detection system.

Q3: Can this antibody cross-react with other mouse immunoglobulin classes?

A3: This antibody is specific for mouse IgA. Cross-reactivity with other mouse immunoglobulin classes is minimal. For detection of other isotypes, use the appropriate isotype-specific secondary antibody.
